From 2025 to 2026, I volunteered on the Hilliard, Ohio housing steering committee to review the city's housing study. One goal of the study was to track whether Hilliard has met its goal of remaining a place that meets the needs of its current and future residents. I developed this tool to help the city track its housing prices and production relative to other comparison cities in Franklin County, Ohio.

Best for: local officials, residents, and journalists.
What it shows: how Hilliard home prices, rents, mortgage rates, incomes, and housing production compare with nearby communities and the Columbus region.
Caveat: draft tool — the new-housing-permits panel is illustrative placeholder data and should not be cited. The price, rent, income, and mortgage-rate panels list their sources and update dates in the dashboard below.
